Poetic Journey in Personal Discovery

Majority Wins…

image

The darkness of a tilted world,
Overshadowed by majority light.
Dominating what’s down below,
But powerless over God’s might.

Ominous in appearance.
Thriving on intimidation.
A false portrayal of fear,
Your chosen mask of illusion.

  1. A little bit of the darker side. I love it E.

  2. Short but powerful. Thanks for sharing.

    • Sure. I try not to ramble on occasion. I can be long winded (insert shocked gasp here perhaps) – felt like a sufficient expression length. Thanks for reading.

I really like “tilted world”–great description of it!

  5. um…wow. I love this. My reasons for loving it revolve around the issues my family is facing with racism right now, so perhaps my take on your intent is a little askew or maybe it’s spot on. Whichever the case – I just…love this. Thanks for sharing your talent with the rest of us.

    • Wasn’t specifically the meaning when I wrote it- but once the words are born individual interpretation kicks in! I just hope the meaning you found brought you some peace. It sounds like the situation with your family is very painful- and I’m sorry about that. I wish you guys peaceful resolution.

sometimes you know you’ve done the right thing by following the talent of people you’ve never met face to face. I love this young woman’s gift of prose.
