Mirror mirror, in the sky,
Show me, who I am through Your eyes.
Reflect to me what You see.
Heart… soul… strength…
Search me with Your penetrating gaze,
Into my inward hidden place.
All that You find pleasing to You,
Amplify in Your love and truth.
And that which You wish to refine,
Reveal and transform to Your design.
Grant me willingness,
Surrender and obedience…
I sought my soul,
But my soul I could not see.
I sought my God,
But my God eluded me.
I sought my brother,
And I found all three.

By the awesome M. Zane McClellan. He writes some AMAZING poetry and is a great guy- check him out. This form is called a Clarity Pyramid poem. His post has a link to a good source on the style. Hope you all are well.

“Discover your soul in full-bloom”
Stairway from heaven,
Upon ivory keys.
Delivering healing notes,
To a world in need.
Awaiting human touch,
A heavenly connection.
Access to God’s presence,
And His melodious perfection.
Stairway to heaven,
Upon ivory keys.
A fluid stream where spirit dances,
And soul receives.
Enveloped by Gods love in harmony,
With the hurting under oppression.
A concerto with angelic orchestra,
Creating sound which defies comprehension…
A whisper, released from captivity,
Feather adrift upon the tongue.
Holding silent echoes, captured by the heart,
Unheard, unless one knows to listen.
Where secrets abide, lying in wait,
Screaming to be spoken in confidence.
Concealment causes a slow decay of the soul,
Constantly under light’s eye of suspicion.
A whisper, into the noisy silence,
Can you hear what’s being spoken?
The freedom found through exposure,
Will return quiet to peace again…
