Hiding in plain sight,
Even from herself.
Striving to fit in,
When there exists no parallel.
Conforming with chameleon stealth,
To avoid the perceived inconvenience.
Of standing out within a crowd,
In the full exposure of her uniqueness.
Unable, in her egocentric view,
To recognize the fact.
That there is no same of which to adhere,
Many others too put on an act.
Why the need to find her way,
By following ways meant for another?
When spending time on her growth instead,
Would reveal the self she’s meant to discover.
