I’ve grasped a sand dollar in my hand,
An unwilling passenger abducted by the waves.
I marvel at its masterful perfection,
Grateful the traveler has come my way.
Such amazing beauty discovered,
Oceanic gem, born of a powerful sea.
Delicate survivor of elemental perils,
A testament to God’s sublime artistry.

Well, if you hadn’t already hooked me, this one would do it–I LOVE it, love anything about the sea. Thank you for the lovely gift.
You are? Can’t blame you. Working on another piece I may post tomorrow- on a bit of an ocean kick. Glad you liked it.
