Poetic Journey in Personal Discovery

ID-10084422

Cold fingers, cold toes, looking to be warm and feel

Her face behind barrier hands,

Clasped to her hiding

The door was closed by a dark pressing in the air

She knew plenty, the missing

Time huddled icy and close

It was not slight as it stared her down

Offering to reveal what was lost

Strengthened by her defeat she emerged

With the unbound spirit of lovers, star-crossed

Reaching toward the suns warmth,

though she could not yet see it

She welcomed the fire before it came

It was he, he was there all along with outstretched hands

Bound to their love in open chains

  1. OH WOW, that’s good.

  2. can definitely relate to this 🙂 beautiful! wishing you much much warmth and love always!

  3. She welcomed the fire before it came. There’s that impatience. The staggering definitely adds to the rhythm. That last line is perfect.
